FREE TRAINING : Supporting the Education of Children and young people with Medical Needs

All sessions will start at 4.00 pm and end at 5.45 pm

Attend all sessions or an individual session

 

The following sessions led by Consultants and Health Professionals from New Cross Hospital are for SENCOs, classroom practitioners and pastoral staff across all phases.

The sessions aim to raise awareness of the impact that certain medical conditions can have on learning and attainment and strategies that could be used in the classroom to support learning:

 

Monday 12th November 2018 Dr Brent - Sickle cell anaemia
Monday 14th January 2019 Dr Pargass - Diabetes
Monday 1st April 2019 Dr Edwards - Cystic fibrosis
Monday 20th May 2019 Dr Copeman - Hypermobility
Monday 10th June 2019 Dr Brent – Oncology
