Solution Focused Approaches are designed to explore the strengths and resources of a person and situation rather than concentrating on the problems and difficulties.
It is a way of working on positive aspects of a difficult situation in order to find the most helpful way forward for all concerned.
The approach can be used flexibly with individuals, groups, families and teams. This session will provide the skills and resources needed to use Solution Focused Approaches to support children and young people.

Who is the course for?
Relevant to all staff, particularly those with a pastoral role.It is also relevant to non-school staff who have a direct role working with children and young people and/or their families.
