Securing Expert Teaching in the EYFS

June 18, 2018

Date: Tuesday 4th December 2018

Venue: Ashmore Park, Griffiths Dr, Wolverhampton WV11 2LH

Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm

Ashmore Park are working in partnership with Early Excellence to offer professional development and the focus of the day is about recognising, developing and planning for the Characteristics of Effective Learning.

Developing the Characteristics of Effective Learning The Characteristics of Effective Learning are fundamental to every child. They focus on how children learn rather than what they learn. Research has shown that it is these skills that make a difference to children’s long term outcomes and to their ability to become happy, resourceful and resilient adults. This comprehensive course will get practitioners to consider the different ways children learn and reflect this in how we plan, teach, organise our learning environment and support individual children and groups of children.
