Eastfield Primary School unite to stand up to bullying

November 20, 2017

Pupils and staff from Eastfield Primary School, in Wolverhampton, joined together by wearing blue to recognise all those who have suffered from bullying or are experiencing bullying.

The Anti-Bullying, Wear Blue Day, was held on Friday 17th November with a series of anti-bullying activities throughout the day. Children worked on posters with the message ‘tell someone’, made bullying and friendship scenarios using Lego, designed hands to show how to use hands in a good way, drew super hero friends, created comic strip stories and celebrated being different through well-known stories.

Helen Bird, Deputy Head Teacher, said: “Anti-Bullying Day is an important part of our school curriculum to shine a spotlight on bullying and encourage children to speak to someone and not suffer in silence.”
