You may be aware of the recent DfE announcements about the reform of the national professional qualifications and subsequent new approach to NPQs.
The DfE’s aim is to put schools and partnerships such as ours ‘in the driving seat of leadership professional development’. Working within a flexible set of frameworks, accredited providers will design, deliver and assess one or more of an extended suite of qualifications.’
Historically, Ryders Hayes in Walsall has always provided Middle Leadership qualifications, first directly through National College as trained and accredited providers, and more recently under licence to Lawrence Sheriff, Warwickshire. This new approach brings new opportunities to work in a more local collaborative. As such we are keen to gauge interest in the potential offer of the new Primary NPQML for aspirant and serving middle leaders in 2017/18 onwards. This would be in partnership with Ryders Hayes, through Barr Beacon School as lead school.
As part of our application, we need to demonstrate a local need for the primary programme. Without obligation, please can you return the completed slip below, by email to email@example.com to express your interest, by Wednesday, 15th March as applications to become a provider have to be submitted on 20th March, 2017.

We look forward to working in partnership with you on what is being described as ‘the gold standard’ for leadership development.
