Outstanding Aspiring Headteacher Programme

This course is designed to support Deputy Heads, Assistant Headteachers and Aspiring Headteachers working towards Headship, develop characteristics of outstanding leadership, that transforms learning and impacts on outcomes for all learners. The course is led by a highly experienced National Leadership Consultant.

 

Overview
This 3 day programme is intended for aspiring senior leaders and includes:

  • Exploring the challenges of deputy headship/ AHT

  • Exploring three key intelligences of effective senior leadership, seven steps to success and a leadership tool box

  • Making the shift differences to middle leadership in the school you lead

  • Key skills and attributes of effective senior leaders

  • Drive for excellence and clarity of direction

  • Leading effective change

  • Creating a climate for change, understanding resistance and managing it effectively

  • Coaching for excellence in others
