This course has been designed to support teachers in their second and third year of teaching in developing their teaching and leadership capacity.

 

Overview

  • Securing the quality of teaching and learning so that it is at least good with outstanding features

  • Securing good rates of progress for all learners in the classroom

  • Assessment for progress; interpreting data; intervention planning & using support staff effectively

  • Roles and responsibilities of an effective subject leader

  • Performance management on whole school impact

  • Developing coaching and mentoring to support continuous CPD

 

Designed by Manor Teaching School and facilitated by experienced outstanding school leaders this is a 5 session programme that supports teachers in their second and third year of teaching in becoming a more effective teacher (consistently good with outstanding features) and an effective subject leader.
