Did you know…in Wolverhampton there are around 600 young people under the age of 15, and 1,800 young people aged 16 – 24 who look after someone else. Many of them spend 20 hours or more every week helping family members, friends or neighbours because they are unwell, elderly or have a disability and could not manage at home without their help. Most young carers look after one of their parents, grandparents or care for a brother or sister.
Find attached a Consultation Questionnaire and Poster. We would appreciate it if you could display the poster, promote the consultation through your organisations mechanisms and forward the information to any relevant contacts.
