Wolverhampton’s WV Active leisure centres are holding a wide range of activities to keep young people occupied during the Easter holidays.
WV Active Aldersley is running its ever-popular Kids Club between Monday 28 March and Saturday 9 April, offering multi-sports, giant games, arts and crafts, fencing, archery and frisbee, roller skating, dodgeball, tag rugby, Futsal and Bikeability sessions.
Children aged eight to 16 can also play badminton, tennis, table tennis or use the athletics track, while the all-weather pitches are available to hire and the Youth Gym is open to 14 to 16-year-olds throughout Easter from 10am-2pm.
Meanwhile, WV Active Central and WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams are also hosting special holiday activities, with Central offering float sessions, snorkelling and taster swimming lessons and Bilston-Bert Williams running swimming lessons and family fun sessions in the pool, and indoor football sessions in the sports hall.
Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: “Our leisure centres are offering a fantastic array of activities to keep young visitors active during the Easter holidays, whatever the weather.”
