Spaces are currently available on WV Active Central’s swimming lessons for children and young people.
They are aimed at young people who are just starting to learn how to swim as well as those who have mastered the basics but want to learn more.
They include a Ducks class for non-swimmers aged between three-and-a-half and five, and stages 1-8 lessons for non-swimmers and swimmers aged from five to 15.
Councillor Steve Evans, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Environment, said: "Swimming is an important – and potentially lifesaving – skill which children should be encouraged to learn.
“WV Active Central’s various swimming lessons will teach young people the skills they need to be confident in the water.”
The 30-minute lessons are led by Amateur Swimming Association-accredited teachers and are delivered as part of a 10-week course, costing £35 per child.
Places are available on a first come, first served basis and to find out more, please call 01902 551010 or call into WV Active Central, Bath Avenue, Wolverhampton.
