INTRODUCING OUR PSYCHOLOGIST SERVICE FOR PRIMARY & SECONDARY SCHOOLS
We are delighted to now offer schools an opportunity for pupils to access the support of a chartered clinical psychologist at The Switch Project. Our service offers:
Psychological assessment for a pupil, including informal assessment sessions to explore a young person’s difficulties, skills levels, goal setting and motivation and more formal psychometric assessments, including cognitive assessment.
Direct psychological therapeutic input that involves sessions tailored to the specific needs of each young person as indicated by the assessment, the requirements of your referral and overall goal for the young persons’ time with The Switch Project. The focus of sessions can include improving coping skills, motivation, self-esteem, anxiety or anger management.
Written assessment and outcome report to provide more detail on the psychological formulation of the young person’s difficulties and recommendations regarding input required whilst working with The Switch Project and to facilitate the young person’s transition back to full-time education.
