Level 3 Black Country school games

June 26, 2015

On Friday 26th June at Wolverhampton University, Walsall campus all four areas of the Black Country came together to celebrate the Black Country School Games.

Once again due to hard work by our schools, WASPS, SSAW and PASS -Wolverhampton 'rocked'up in a sea of yellow t'shirts ready to compete against Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall.

All through the great range of level 3 events that have taken place over the year Wolverhampton has consistently proven we are a sporting city to be proud of.

On Friday the level 3 competitions consisted of Handball for all age groups, Athletics, Quad Athletics for SEND, Football for SEND, Tri-Golf, Indoor Sportshall Athletics, Multi skills for KS1, Virtual triathlon, Netball and many more.

Wolverhampton left the event with many Gold , Silver and Bronze medals and just as important massive smiles.

We now need to remind schools to record their participation and their competition activity on their School Games dashboard so that Wolverhampton can record the biggest year yet on Schools achieving a School Games Mark.
