On Friday 5th June PASS in partnership with Wolverhampton University organised and delivered a day for schools from around the Black Country for SEND secondary age pupils.
236 young SEND pupils took part in a whole day of activity led by Wolverhampton undergraduates who have received inclusive PE training through PASS (Wolverhampton School Sport Partnership).
Each session was a mixture of taking part and then competition with pupils mixing with other pupils from Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell and of course Wolverhampton.
The School Games challenge cards were the basis of each session and teachers were encouraged to go on line on to their School Games dashboard and download the activities and use back at their school.
Young leaders supported the event from Deansfield School and Dudley College and many SEND pupils were talent spotted and will go on to represent the City/Borough at the Level 3 School Games County day on the 26th June.
